An average Japanese wage-worker who works for a company that employs more than 30 people can get 18.4 days of paid holiday officially. But most of the workers do not take 18 holidays fully. The average worker takes 8.8 paid holidays in a year. The rate of taking an annual paid holiday is 47.6% in 2015.
