The following table presents the yearly purchased amount of toilet paper per capita by city in Japan. Unit is yen. It is the average figure from 2011 to 2013. The survey was conducted by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and target people were families which consist of more than two members. So this data does not include single households.

People in northern Japan buy rolls of paper more. People in Setouchi area (Hiroshima,
Okayama, Kagawa, Ehime, Yamaguchi, purple colored area) do not buy them much.
