Clothing Store Chain Market Share in Japan, 2013
Nikkei newspaper group estimated the 2013 market share of clothing store chains in Japan. The total sales of chains were 1.3 trillion yen, increasing by 7.8% from 2012.
Uniqlo dominates the market, its market share was 51.5% in 2013.
The actual shop names of "2nd place UNITED ARROWS, 3rd place point and 5th place PAL" are different from the parent companies' names. They have many brand shops. So I cannot tell which brand belongs to those parent companies.
