In Japan, there are electronics retail store chains like Best Buy. According to the Nikkei newspaper's research about electronics retail store market share, Yamada-Denki was the biggest chain. Its market share was 32.8%. Four chains in 2nd-5th places are in a very competitive situation. Their market shares are almost same. Sometimes, two chains merge into one chain and changes the market share dramatically.
