According to Nikkei Sangyo Shimbun newspaper, total 743,000 copiers were sold in Japan in 2013. Canon had the largest share (22.2%), but their share decreased by 0.2% from 2012. Meanwhile the second player Ricoh increased their share by 0.5% from 2012, getting closer to Canon.
