Breakdown of Electric Power Generation in Japan

Since the earthquake in 2011, nuclear power is gradually abandoned. The ratio of nuclear power was 30% in 2010, but no nuclear power station is used as a power station currently. So far, thermal power compensates for the decline in nuclear power generation. Sustainable energies are almost nothing.

Here is the breakdown of monthly power generation in March 2014.

Electoric power generation  (Unit:1,000kWh)
Thermal 64,051,795
Hydraulic 5,928,296
Geothermal heat  222,003
Wind power  18,682
Solar power 7,808
Nuclear power  0
Total 70,228,584

The below shows the breakdown of monthly power generation when nuclear power was still running (2010 March).

Electoric power generation  (Unit:1,000kWh)
Thermal 49,258,287
Hydraulic 8,551,666
Geothermal heat  238,641
Wind power  2,288
Solar power 26
