Menma (fermented bamboo shoots) = 198 yen ($1.98 €1.52)

I bought a bottle of menma for 198 yen ($1.98 €1.52) at Seiyu to eat them with ramen noodle. Menma is a bamboo shoot boiled, sliced, fermented, dried or preserved in salt, then soaked in hot water and sea salt. Menma is also called as "China bamboo". But, actually it is not common outside Japan. We use menma as a topping food for noodles.
