Open to the Public Day of National Institute of Genetics

I visited National Institute of Genetics in Mishima city, Shizuoka prefecture. Today, the institute is open to the public, and anyone can visit the institute without any charge. The institute is open to the public once a year, usually the first Saturday in April. The researchers at the institute explained their studies (in Japanese).

The institute has 200 types of cherry trees in the facility. So you can see 200 types of cherry blossom there.

The below is the leaflet.
