National Tax Agency reports the result of the Statistical Survey of Actual status for Salary in the Private Sector every year. Private sector means that it does not include public servants salaries, and it does not include self employed persons also.
According to the latest result (2013), the average annual salary of wage-workers in the private sectors is 3,595,000 yen (approximately $30,000 €28,000).
