My local ward office collects an over-sized trash which is bigger than 30 cm x 30 cm. Service charge for picking up trash is necessary and the prices vary depending on items.
I asked the local office to pick up two used ceiling lights. It cost 300 yen ($2.94 €2.13) for each, total 600 yen. I bought two prepaid 300 yen tickets at first. Then I pasted the tickets on the used lights, and put the lights at the collecting point of my flat on the specified day (by 8 A.M. in the morning).
