Record of Maximum Instantaneous Wind Speed in Tokyo
The wind velocity was very fast in Tokyo yesterday. It is common for Japanese people to dry laundries outside. Yesterday my laundries were blew off from the laundry pole.
Japan Meteorological Agency has been recording the data of maximum instantaneous wind speed since 1875, in Tokyo. According to it, the record of maximum instantaneous wind speed is 46.7 m/s on 1938 Sep 1st.
