Room Air Conditioner Market Share in Japan, 2015
Nikkei newspaper estimated the 2015 room air conditioner market share in Japan. According to it, Panasonic had the top market share (25.4%). Daikin was the second place. In terms of business use air conditioner, Daikin has the largest market share.
The industry-wide total sales were 8.1 million conditioners in 2015. The sales decreased by 4.7% from 2014.
