Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper coducted a survey "How Many Books Do You Read in a Month? (except magazine)" in September. According to it, 46% of Japanese people do not read any books in a month. Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper also asked them "Why don't you read books?" The following is the survey result of the reasons why people don't read books.
