When Does The Rainy Season Start in Japan?
Except Hokkaido (northern part of Japan), we have rainy season before summer. Japan Meteorological Agency announces the start date and the end date of the rainy season every year, and also calculates the average start date and the average end date for 30 years. The following table shows the average start/end dates of the rainy season by city. It cannot be specified the exact date, these are rough indications.
