Human Deaths in Japan Caused by Animals, 2013
Last year (2013), 24 people were killed by hornets/wasps/bees, according to the statistics of Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. 10 people of them were age 45-64, 14 people of them were over 65. The following table shows the number of deaths caused by animals in Japan, 2013.
