Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications researched Japanese population by Oriental Zodiac (animal symbols) in 2019. According to it, the people born in the year of Wild boar/Pig are the biggest group among 12 zodiacs. The year of the horse is the smallest group.

Motor Vehicle Deaths in Japan, 2019
National Police Agency reported that 3,215 of people were killed by car accidents in 2019. Those were the victims only who died within 24 hours after the accidents. The actual victims are more than them.
The number of victims decreased by 317 from 2018.
