Changes in the Prices of Octopus in Japan, 1970-2014
Japanese people eat octopus commonly. Those are common sushi toppings.
Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications researches the price of octopus every month. The data below show the changes in the price indexes of octopus between 1970 and 2014, if the price in 2010 is taken as 2010. The price is on a rising trend.
