Changes in the Prices of Salmon in Japan, 1970-2014

According to a research conducted by Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the price of salmon is highest within the last 40 years. After the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, some fish industries were destroyed and Japan increased the volume of salmon import. Recent weak yen causes the price rise of salmon.
