Changes in the Prices of Mackerel in Japan, 1970-2014
Mackerel is a common food in Japan. We call them "saba".

Japanese government checks the mackerel price in the market monthly. The government calculates the Consumer Price Indexes based on that research.
The following data show the changes in the price indexes of mackerel since 1970, if the price in 2010 is taken as 100.
