Changes in the Prices of Udon in Japan, 1970-2014

Udon is thick wheat flour noodle. Japanese government reports the Consumer Price Index every month. In the report, the government publishes the price of dried udon every month. The following data show the changes in udon prices in Japan between 1970 and 2014.

Like the prices of bread, the udon price rose rapidly during 2007–08 world food price crisis.
