Capacity of Kids Nurseries in Tokyo, 2005-2015
There are 2884 authorized nurseries in Tokyo as of 2015 April. Their capacity is 240,611 children. The capacity is not enough to take care of all children whose parents want to use nurseries. Approximately 8,000 children are on the waiting list.
