I bought a Canon color printer via Amazon in November to print my new year's cards. It cost 3,454 yen ($28.78 €23.50). Currently (Dec 31), its price is 3,118 yen ($25.98 €21.21).
The running cost is relatively expensive. This printer requires two ink cartridges; black cartridge and color cartridge. The color cartridge costs 2,218 yen ($18.48 €15.09) and the black cartridge costs 2,058 yen ($17.15 €14.00) in Amazon.co.jp. Usually the ink cartridges run out in one or two years.
