Average Number of Job Changings (Career Switch) in Japan
Social Good Marketing which is an agency of supporting people's career switch, led a survey about the average number of job changings in Japan. According to the survey, the average number of job changes are 2.2 times.
The survey was conducted through the Internet, and 667 individuals answered the poll.
- The ages of respondents are from 20 years-old to 60 years-old.
- In case of starting his/her own business, they counted it as one change.
- They did not count a case of getting a part time job.

In terms of workers living in Tokyo, their average count was 2.1. It is less than the nationwide number.
