Most Cultivated Flower in Japan

Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan researches flower production every year. According to its statistics, the chrysanthemum is the most cultivated in Japan in 2012. 

The chrysanthemum is the flower of funeral ceremonies. A large portion of chrysanthemum is used in funeral ceremonies.
