How Cats/Dogs Show Their ID (in Tokyo, 2012)
Some cat owners put a collar on the cat. According to a survey which was conducted in 2011-2012 by Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health, 43% of cats have collars on their necks in Tokyo.
3.5% cats have microchips inside the body.
