How much do you need to keep dogs in Japan?

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health conducted a survey in 2011-2012 about dogs in Tokyo. According to it, most owners spent 10,000 - 60,000 yen ($100-$600) for foods of dogs yearly.
