What Alcohol Beverage is Popular in Japan?
The following table shows yearly purchased amount by type of alcohol. Beer is the most popular. Low-malt alcohol which is called "second category beer" and Beer-like beverage (third category beer) are cheaper than traditional beer, because of low tax rate. So those are also common recently. It is the average figure from 2010 to 2012.
