Masato Shimon, singer of No.1 hit "Oyoge! Taiyaku-kun" had not made a royalty contract with the record company when he recorded the song. Because he did not think the song was going to be popular. So, he could not get any royalty money despite the song's mega hit, but got only 50,000 yen (approx. $1000) as the recording fee.
