New Year's greeting card, including postal fare = 50 yen ($0.48 €0.35)

There is a custom to send New Year's greeting cards one another in Japan. The card is delivered from January 1st to January 7th. Japan Post sells dedicated postcards for it. It costs 50 yen ($0.48 €0.35) per one card. It is not necessary to put a stamp on the dedicated card. I bought 80 cards. People usually prepare them in December. If you post cards until December 25th, Japan Post will deliver them on January 1st to recipients. Japan Post used to hire many temporary workers around this season. I am not sure they still hire many temporary workers.
